Wisconsin Law Prohibits Dishwashing Detergent with Phosphorus

Add Wisconsin to the list:

Doyle signs law to limit phosphorus in dishwasher soap (www.jsonline.com)

A law that will limit content in automatic dishwasher soap sold in Wisconsin has been signed by Gov. Doyle. The law will take effect July 1 to give retailers time to sell their current inventory of soap and switch to -free detergent.

Twelve other states have already passed similar laws at the urging of environmentalists.

That’s July 1, 2010. If you’re a fan of good dishwashing soap, then stock up now.

this is retarded beyound retarded. wisconsin is losing valuable algae in lakes as it is. algae feeds small fash which in turn feeds larger fish. the morons in the green movement are banning it to stop algae growth even though there is NO proven link between dishwashing and algae growth.

the state has no problem with milwaukee and other citites dumping MILLIONS of gallons RAW sewage into lake michigan each month. an unproven link between dishwashing liquid and algae!!! CANT have that. must feel good about something while the liberals and green eco-terrorists dump sewage into our natural resources.

bunch freekin hypocrit loonies.

Consider using Melaleuca products. Their products are very effective and contain no phosphates. Why not get your dishes clean and make the “morons” happy all at the same time?

@Barb H
So you think wanting clean water makes one a “Moron”? I think worrying about clean dishes, but not giving a hang about clean water is moronic. How are you going to get clean dishes when the water is poisoned???

Hippies will never be happy until everyone suffers as much as they do. I wish they could just go ahead and stink and be hairy and leave the rest of us alone.

There’s a new product that was specifically designed to remove hard water deposits from dishes. All natural and contains no phosphates. It’s called CitriClean and you can buy it online at http://www.CitriClean.net
